No. Govern the agents you already run in your own tools and environments. Register an agent, define its owner and rules, and connect it to the appropriate governance path. Agents can also request organizational context through permission-filtered memory tools.
How does agent discovery work?
Discovery can identify unregistered automation in connected evidence and supported agent activity imports. Discovered agents remain separate from registered, governed agents. A person decides whether to claim an agent and establish its rules or dismiss it from the registry. Discovery depends on the connected sources and does not establish complete coverage of every agent in the business.
What can Orcinta stop before it happens?
Enforcement applies to actions routed through the platform’s governed execution path. Relevant permissions, policies, agent rules, and operating limits are checked before the action proceeds. Imported logs describe activity that already happened. They provide observed evidence and cannot retroactively block that activity.
What happens when an action needs approval?
The action is held and the approval gate brings together the request, the reason, and the supporting context for an authorized reviewer. A review decision is recorded. Approval does not remove the agent’s other permission, policy, or operating limits.
Can we review a rule before enforcing it?
Where staged rule rollout is enabled, an agent rule can observe activity, surface its would-be decisions for review, and then move into enforcement. An authorized person changes the stage, and the change leaves a receipt. Other policy checks and operating limits remain in force throughout.
Can we pause or retire an agent?
Use per-agent or workspace-wide governance pauses to hold actions through the governed path. Agents can also be disabled or decommissioned. Lifecycle changes retain their evidence and receipts; retiring an agent does not delete its history or shut down an external runtime by itself.
Do receipts certify regulatory compliance?
Receipts record the actor, action, policy reference, verdict, and related evidence. Verification and conformance packets help you inspect integrity and explain governance coverage. Framework mappings support review; they are not a certification or a guarantee of compliance.
