Connected history

What came before and why it matters

The latest document rarely tells the whole story.

You find the document, but still need someone to explain why it changed. The answer is buried in another conversation, or left with a colleague. Your team loses time reconstructing knowledge the business already had.

Find the decision and the thinking that went into it.

Bring agreements, team discussions and work updates together around the same business question. Get the current answer, understand the reasons and return to the original sources when you need more detail.

AgreementsWhat was agreed

Keep the agreed scope, payment terms and responsibilities connected to the customer, supplier or work they concern.

Team conversationsWhy the decision changed

Connect the discussion behind a decision to its supporting facts, including concerns that were raised and questions left open.

Work updatesWhere things stand now

Follow later updates without losing the earlier decision. See what changed, who is responsible and which next steps remain.

The next person can pick up the reasoning, not just the files.

Ask what was agreed, why it changed or who is responsible. Spend less time asking colleagues to repeat the history and more time moving the work forward.

Ask about the consequences

Carry the context forward with the work.

Spend less time explaining the same thing.

Make earlier decisions and their reasons available to the people who need them, within their access.

Give new colleagues a better starting point.

Help people understand the work they are taking over, without depending on one person to remember every detail.

Carry useful knowledge into your AI tools.

Give connected agents the relevant history so every task does not begin with another long explanation.

Your business keeps learning as your people keep working.

New information joins what is already known. As your sources, teams and work grow, the connected picture becomes richer and answers can draw on more of your business history.

  1. Capture knowledge from everyday work.

Use the sources your organization connects, without asking everyone to maintain another knowledge base.

  2. Connect new evidence to what it changes.

A revised agreement or team update can change today’s answer. Conflicting or missing facts stay visible.

  3. Keep the earlier understanding.

Return to what was known when a decision was made, even if the business learned something different later.

Questions about business memory.

Is this another place to store all our documents?

Your tools remain the source of the work. Business memory connects the supported facts, relationships and source references needed to understand it. Raw source content is temporary by default.

What happens when two sources disagree?

Conflicting claims retain their evidence. The source, timing and corroboration matter; the newest statement is not automatically treated as the correct one. An unresolved conflict can remain a question for the responsible person.

Can everyone see the same business history?

Access depends on the person’s permissions and the connected information available to them. Shared business context does not make private conversations, personal notes or restricted records available to everyone.

Can I ask what was known before an update arrived?

Yes. The record distinguishes when a fact took effect from when it was learned. Later evidence can improve today’s understanding while preserving the basis of an earlier decision.

Give your team less history to repeat.
